Sisterwives (for Bottleneck Gallery), graphite on paper. I was invited by Joe Bouganim, a co-owner at the new Bottleneck Gallery, to do a piece for their inaugural show “More Than You Imagined”. The works in the show are based on premium cable shows and I chose to work with my favorite show from HBO, Big Love. The opening for the show is on September 7th, and I’m definitely going to be at the opening. I was much more interested in the sisterwives on Big Love than their husband, and chose to focus on their relationships with each other. Minor note: they are all wearing Calvin Klein Collection, from the 2012 pre-fall collection.
